I like to include lots of pictures in my blog. Many of these are the ones that I sell through agencies. It is an unfortunate fact of life for artists and photographers that many people do not understand that pictures posted on the internet are not free to take and do whatever you wish with them. Sales of our work is how we are able to continue doing what we love, and every time somebody copies an image from a website and uses it without permission, it devalues it. It is very easy for a picture to become so overused that it is no longer usable by paying customers and so it cannot be sold or licenced by the original artist. I would ask you to respect my copyright, and do not use or reproduce any of my images. This includes such things as adding them to Pinterest, or including them in sets of pictures that are posted and emailed. Should you wish to buy a print or licence a photo, contact me and I will direct you to the site where this can be done.
